(Cannes, France) Jackie Chan was in town at the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival to promote his upcoming December release of “Chinese Zodiac,” written by Chan and directed by acclaimed Hollywood veteran Bret Ratner. Chan, who vows that this is his last action flick, stopped by the American Pavilion to share his trailer and do a press conference with the student interns.

News camera’s and photographers were on hand to capture the moment, and the opportunity gave Chan a chance to clear up a misunderstanding that was set the day before during a Cannes Press Conference; Jackie Chan is not retiring from acting, however, “Chinese Zodiac” will be his very last high action film where he is responsible for his own stunts. The 58 year old actor is ready to tone down the intense martial arts roles and focus on more physically relaxed films. Chan wishes to command roles that Robert Deniro and Jack Nicholson would go after.

Be on the lookout for “Chinese Zodiac” this winter and keep your ears to Hollywood for more news about Chan’s amazing– and shifting, film career.
