Experience
• Complete a placement at The American Pavilion, the de facto headquarters for the American film community, or at a company doing business at the Marché du Film. Partner companies include talent agencies, production/distribution companies (both domestic and international), trade publications, and PR firms. It is better and faster than any internship out there.
Connect
• Network with industry insiders
• Meet like-minded students from all over the world
• Chance to screen your film for other program participants in our Roger Ebert Conference Center (optional)

Cannes Hospitality & Event Management Program
Learn
• Pre-Festival Orientation
• Gain a greater understanding of the production of a global event
• Hands on-experience in event planning, catering and set-upExperience
• Work closely with industry professionals in producing a broad range of events – from press conferences to movie promotion parties to intimate dinners on The American Pavilion Terrace.

Learn

Registration Process
Application Requirements
1. Completed online application form with essay questions – Please note that applicants must be 18 years of age by May 12, 2024.
2. Current résumé
3. Unofficial college (or high school) transcript – If you haven’t received grades from your current college, please include your high school transcript (or previous school transcript) along with a list of your current classes.
4. Photo for Festival badge – Photo should be ID-style, of face only, with a light background and no headwear or other items/people in the photo. File should be a jpeg under 1mb.
5. Non-refundable application fee of $55
Completed applications are reviewed by The American Pavilion Selection Committee on a rolling basis. Candidates who meet all of the requirements for admission will be contacted for an interview and notified of a decision on a first come, first served basis.
Candidates are encouraged to apply early as the program can fill up quickly.
Conditions of Acceptance
If accepted into the program, a non-refundable deposit of $1000 is due within two weeks of acceptance to hold your spot. The balance of $4,395 is due no later than February 15, 2024. Please note that all fees are non-refundable.
*Receive a $500 discount by paying the program fee in full within two weeks of acceptance!
AmPav Alumni: A non-refundable deposit of $1000 is due within two weeks of acceptance to hold your spot. The balance of $2,950 is due no later than February 15, 2024. There is no additional discount for paying in full before February 15. Please note that all fees are non-refundable.
Failure to comply with the above stated conditions will result in being put on the waiting list or forfeiting your place in the program.
Program fees are non-refundable. Acceptance can be deferred to a future year only if participation is not possible due to travel restrictions, date change, or cancellation by the Festival.
Adherence to all COVID-19 safety protocols will be required. Depending upon conditions at the time of travel, this could include proof of vaccination/boosters, masking, and/or frequent testing. We will keep participants updated regarding policies and safety measures put forth by the French State Department and the Festival organization.
